Website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

Job Summary:
The Website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist is a strategic thinker with a passion to drive results on SEO. The incumbent shall play a key role in optimizing our online presence to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Reports to the Sales Manager/Marketing Manager/Operations Manager regarding the productivity under the Operations Department, the challenges encountered with their respective action plan, and strategies to be developed or implemented;

Specific Responsibilities:
a. Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify relevant search terms and opportunities for optimization;
b. Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs to improve search engine visibility and user experience;
c. Perform technical audits to identify and address issues impacting website crawlability, indexing, and ranking;
d. Develop and execute link building strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority;
e. Collaborate with content creators to optimize website content for search engines and user engagement;
f. Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, track keyword rankings, and prepare regular SEO reports for stakeholders; 
g. Other related duties.  
Competencies:
Education: At least a Diploma in any discipline;

Skills and Work Experiences: 
a. Preferably has 2 years of experience previously working at an SEO Agency.
b. Proven experience in SEO, with a strong track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
c. In-depth knowledge of SEO tools and techniques, including keyword research tools, SEO auditing tools, and analytics platforms.
d. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) for implementing technical SEO optimizations.
e. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
f. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with content creators, developers, and marketing teams.
g. SEO certification or relevant training courses is a plus.
